About the Event
Fused plastic fabric is versitile and can be cut and sewn similar to fabric. But all of the fused plastic is made out of hard to recycle soft plastic like grocery bags, bubble wrap and packaging.
Come play with this unique material. We will have a few different projects that can be made with some simple sewing or by using an impulse sealer to merge plastic. Make a cinch bag, snap pouch, pencil holder, wallet, or tray.
All materials, tools and inspiration will be provided at this free event. Materials are 100% post-consumer, meaning they are donated, thrifted or upcycled. Childcare will be available.
