About the Event
Join us for this sew-a-long where we will be using fabric letters from t-shirts as applique to machine sew words and phrases. Fabric can be made into a tote at the event or taken home and added like a patch to existing clothing or whatever.
This sewing project is good for those familiar with a sewing machine and those who have sewn a zipper before. Some sewing machines will be on-hand, but please feel free to bring your own.
All materials, tools and guidance will be provided at this free event. All materials are post-consumer, meaning they have been donated, thrifted or reclaimed.
Project will take most of the time, please show up by 5pm to sew side-by-side with others. Please reserve your tickets so we can accurately plan for the number of people.
Event is free thanks to Tacoma Creates.
