Skirt Sewing

Join us for this sew-a-long where we will be making Skirts. There are a couple of really neat things about this skirt: 1. The pattern is zero-waste based on measurements (you can mark right on your fabric). 2. the front and back parts of the skirt are split and fasten separately, making it size inclusive.

Some other interesting things about this skirt are the design option to pleat versus gather and adjusting the waistband length.

Project is good for those familiar with a sewing machine and those who have sewn before. Sewing machines will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own.

All materials, tools and guidance will be provided at this free event. Materials and notions are post-consumer, meaning they have been donated, thrifted or reclaimed.
